Prepare a signature for an upload

Photograph your signature on white paper, and this cleans the paper away, crops to the ink and hits the size the form asks for. It runs in the browser, so the signature never leaves your device.

Drop your photo hereWe crop to the Prepare a signature for an upload spec, straighten the face and clear the background in one step

Nothing is uploaded because nothing needs to be. Cropping happens on a canvas in your browser, and the background is removed by a neural network that downloads to your device and runs there. The only thing that travels is the model coming down — your photo never leaves the tab, and the source code is public so this can be checked rather than believed.

Why a separate page

Forms that ask for a signature state the pixel width and a range in kilobytes, and the range has a floor as well as a ceiling — a clean signature compresses so well that it falls under the minimum and is refused for being too small. That is the half of the rule most tools ignore, so it is a control here rather than a surprise.
